I’m excited to announce my new Christmas campaign. This holiday season, I’m hoping we can have a positive impact on our community.

I will be knitting Christmas stockings in traditional and experimental designs all season long, and for each purchase of a  vibrant, fully functional Christmas stocking, I will knit and donate one to a child in need at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).

Christmas stockings are often very sentimental items, and they generally last a lifetime. This year, I’d like to give children at CHOP the opportunity to have their very own handmade Christmas stocking.

By purchasing one of these stockings, you will be providing a child at CHOP the opportunity to experience a piece of traditional Christmas. Whether they are in need of their own stocking, or will be spending Christmas at the hospital, I hope having their very own handmade stocking helps them feel cared for and remembered this holiday season.

The stockings come in a variety of colors and designs. Some are traditional and some are inspired by my yarnbombing installations. The stockings are long and sturdy enough to hold gifts and treats for years to come, measuring in at 25″ long and 6.5″ wide. They are also washer and dryer friendly.

If you already have your own Christmas stocking, but still want to help kids this season, here are some ideas for the stocking you purchase:

1. Give it as a gift.
2. Donate it to someone yourself.
3. Keep it as decoration.
4. Yarnbomb it! Hang it somewhere to brighten up your community.

***To local buyers who want to pick up/meet for your item, let me know and I can remove shipping costs.***

Please share, so we can make this holiday season a little brighter for kids at CHOP!
